The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.


Responsibilities

Business Development Responsibilities

  • Generating new sales leads.
  • Preparation of techno-commercial proposals & quotes.
  • Participation in technical presentations / meetings with clients.
  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers for repeat assignments.
  • Attending seminars / conferences thereby identifying the needs of future business expansion with different clients.


Day-to-day duties typically include:

  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone or in person to establish rapport and set up meetings.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Keeping up to date with day-to-day developments in the carbon footprint market / tools / protocols.


Other typical duties include:

  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and execution / sales displays.
  • Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products.
  • Negotiating and renegotiating with Vendors by phone, email, and in person


Qualifications

  • B. Tech. / M. Tech. / Engineer - Environment/Chemical and/or MBA any other relevant field.
  • 2. Minimum 5 years’ experience of working in the field sales/business Development in Climate Action, GHG/ESG/LCA.
