Job description:
We are currently looking for a highly skilled Senior Investment Analyst to join our team in India. As a Senior Investment Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and assessing investment opportunities, conducting financial analysis, and managing the due diligence process.
Key responsibilities:
- Project evaluation and risk assessment.
- Financial modelling and financial analysis.
- Assess project viability feasibility, cash flow analysis, commercial analysis, and due diligence.
- Preparing information memorandums, term sheets & investor's presentations.
- Organizing and managing data room and managing due diligence.
- Managing negotiation and closure.
- Analyzing investment opportunities and preparing the offer /proposal for investment / acquisition.
- Work closely with the energy sales team, provide analytical and commercial assistance in closing PPAs.
- Working on business model for new technologies / businesses.
- Keping a good understanding of project parameters and tracking their progress.
- Maintaining a detailed understanding of risk & and return metrics and guiding teams in optimizing them.
Qualifications:
- Experience in any of the reputed Project Development/IPP firm, Investment Banking / Transaction Advisory in power segment would be relevant.
- Deep Analytical skills. Good understanding of key project parameters and ability to evaluate its feasibility.
- Effective Communication Skills – written and verbal.
- Experience of working on solar and wind transaction/project is a must.
- Understanding of Storage (Battery or Pumped) / Hydro / Green Hydrogen is a plus.
