SGT University, located on a sprawling 70-acre campus near outer Gurgaon, is seeking an accomplished academic leader to join our team as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering & Technology. Our vibrant campus, home to over 9,000 students, offers diverse programs in Medicine, Engineering, Hotel Management, Business Management, Arts, and Science. Position : Professor & Dean - Faculty of Engineering & Technology
Role Overview :
Lead the planning, assessment, and development of programs and services within the department, aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP) platform. Implement and promote new teaching pedagogies to drive excellence in education. Oversee faculty hiring, development, and performance to meet institutional goals. Enhance teaching and learning through innovative pedagogical strategies and technology integration. Collaborate closely with school leadership, program managers, and faculty to ensure student satisfaction and achievement of learning outcomes. Display strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills in a start-up-like environment.
Qualifications : PhD in Computer Science Engineering and a Master's degree with significant industry experience. 20 years of proven experience with demonstrated leadership in academia. Experience in an entrepreneurial or start-up environment. Excellent communication skills in English. Ability to thrive in an international setting.
