Objective:


We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic about being a part of a dynamic and growth-oriented organization, expected to make critical financial decisions and additionally support the executive management team by providing insights and financial advice to drive the organization to new heights. The Finance Manager role involves comprehensive control of the accounting and finance team. The ideal candidate ought to possess an in-depth knowledge of financial planning and strategy, profitability management, strategic planning, vision setting, process improvement, forecasting, corporate finance, budget development and the ability to deal with complex financial challenges.


Responsibilities:

  • Managing the organization's financial reporting. This comprises all required financial reporting, monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Providing sound financial assistance to the leadership team on strategy, roadmap, and targets for the business, and advising on investment decisions and market opportunities.
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions is a plus.
  • Manage cash flow effectively.
  • Full understanding of industry-specific key financial controls and how to implement them.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable processes across the organization.
  • Build actionable reports and dashboards for wider distribution.
  • Liaison with business teams in establishing project budgets and forecasts for both short and long terms.
  • Adhere to, and stay apprised of current accounting and tax laws.
  • Run regular in-depth analyses of financials to gain key insights and ensure accuracy.
  • Assist the investor relations team with key financial deliverables and ad-hoc requests.
  • Define and track critical success metrics and KPIs of the business, collaborating with other divisions to address them.
  • Perform risk analysis and management.
  • Generate cost and profit analysis. Review each component of the profit and loss statement (P&L).



Requirements:


  • Chartered Accountant with excellent academic records and a minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience.
  • Experience in SaaS Accounting is preferable.
  • Have a good understanding of Technology-focused, ideally SaaS businesses. And understand the key KPIs which drive high performance and enterprise value.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, specifically in Excel, macros, data analysis, and pivot tables.
  • Extensive financial statement modelling experience.
  • Experience in working with finance systems (e.g. QuickBooks, Tally, SAP etc)
  • Ability to problem-solve, both autonomously and within teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in small, but fast-growing Tech or digital start-up business environments.
