Job Description :

We at orchestro.ai are seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems and APIs. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs using appropriate technologies and best practices.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Perform code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior engineers.

- Optimize application performance and scalability.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues and implement effective solutions.

- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in backend development.

- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and :

- 6+ year experience in a related field

- Large capacity for attention to detail

- Ability to meet tight deadlines.

- Capable of prioritizing multiple projects to meet goals without management oversight.

- Write and test product or system development code.

- Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.

- Review code developed by other developers and provided feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).

- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.

- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

Preferred Skills :

- Proficiency in one or more of these developer skills : Java, Spring, Python, Unix,

- Exposure with Cloud infrastructure and deployment systems - Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP

- Knowledge in Big Data methodologies such as Data Modelling, Validation, Processing, Hadoop, MapReduce

- Familiar with RDBMS, No Sql, Time series DB.

- Experience with Event driven architecture.

- Good to have experience with web frameworks such as React, Angular, NodeJS

- Client-Server protocol & API design Skills - REST, JSON
