Equity Research Analyst

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Equity Research Analyst with 4-6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, valuation, and investment research, with a focus on identifying and evaluating investment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of companies, industries, and market trends to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive financial models and valuation analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare detailed investment teasers and reports that outline investment opportunities and potential risks.
- Evaluate the performance and strengths of equity fund managers in MF, PMS, and AIF to support informed investment decisions.
- Attend company meetings, industry conferences, and investor presentations to gather actionable insights.
- Monitor and analyze financial news, earnings reports, and market developments to stay ahead of the latest industry trends.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with 4-6 years of relevant experience in equity research.
- Proficiency in financial modeling with a strong understanding of business drivers and key financial components.
- Thorough knowledge of financial statements, including their impact on financial projections and decision-making.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex financial data effectively.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to articulate investment arguments and craft compelling investment theses.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
