Data Engineer
Job Location : Nagpur/Pune
Job Type: Full Time
Experience: 4 to 8 years
Skill Set: Azure or Snowflake
Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in crafting and optimizing complex SQL queries for data transformation, aggregation, and analysis.
- Good programming skills in Python for data processing and manipulation, including libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Experience with a range of Azure data services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage and file formats like JSON & Parquet.
- Ability to design and implement data models, applying both relational and dimensional modeling techniques, within an Azure environment.
- In-depth understanding of ETL processes and methodologies, ensuring seamless data movement and transformation using Azure Data Factory.
- Adeptness in using Azure Functions for serverless data processing, automation, and orchestrating workflows.
- Experience with Snowflake cloud data warehousing service, including data loading, querying, and administration.
- Ability to design and implement data models, applying both relational and dimensional modeling techniques, within Snowflake.
- In-depth understanding of ETL processes and methodologies, leveraging Snowflake's capabilities.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3.5 years of relevant experience in visual reporting development, including hands-on development of analytics dashboards and working with complex data sets
- SQL Server expertise
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills including advanced Excel skill
- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines.
