We have opportunity for Backend Engineering Manager for biometric company in Gurugram location.

Key Skills : Nodejs, Java, (AI Facial recognition)

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable tasks.

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using agile methodologies and best practices.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as Node.js, Java, or other relevant technologies.

- Architect and implement scalable and secure cloud-based solutions leveraging platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes to deploy and manage applications efficiently.

- Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices architectures to support our scalable and modular applications.

- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to promote code quality and professional growth.

- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to automate deployment processes and ensure high availability and reliability of our systems.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply them to enhance our product offerings.

- Participate in product planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Node.js, Java, Python, or similar technologies.

- Experience designing and building cloud-based applications using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design principles.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Experience with agile methodologies and practices such as Scrum or Kanban.

- Passion for learning and adopting new technologies, and a drive for continuous improvement.

Good to Have :

- Hands-on experience with Node.js or Java development.

- Previous experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.

- Certifications related to cloud platforms or software development.
