,Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Magento Developer Lead to upgrade,
maintain, and enhance our e-commerce websites. The ideal candidate will collaborate
with the design and front-end teams to deliver seamless development, customization,
and optimization of Magento 2.x sites. In addition to hands-on coding, the candidate will
manage a team of developers, ensuring quality deliverables, code reviews, and
adherence to project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage eCommerce websites based on Magento 2 (M2), web
    applications, and websites.
  • Analyze, design, code, debug, test, document, and deploy applications.
  • Participate in project and deployment planning.
  • Collaborate closely with the design and front-end teams to align company needs.
  • Build and configure Magento 2.x eCommerce websites.
  • Code Magento templates and ensure design standards are met.
  • Develop Magento modules in PHP adhering to best practices.
  • Design themes and interfaces for optimal user experience.
  • Oversee and manage a development team consisting of Magento developers
    and front-end developers.
  • Review and validate codes to ensure adherence to quality standards,
    functionality, and security before deployment.
  • Approve and make code live only after thorough testing and verification to
    maintain optimal performance and reliability.
  • Implement performance tasks and troubleshoot integration issues.
  • Implement caching management solutions such as Redis and Varnish.
  • Manage Nginx and Apache web servers for smooth operations.
  • Update website features and security patches.
  • Ensure database query optimization and efficient data management.
  • Maintain PHP tools for development and operations.
  • Expertise in Progressive Web App (PWA) development and implementation.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of extensive experience in Magento 2.x development
  • Proficient in managing and leading small teams of Magento and front-end
    developers.
  • Strong understanding of Magento 2, CMS, and JavaScript frameworks such as
    jQuery and PWA.
  • Proficient in XML, XHTML, CSS, and integration of APIs, Payment Gateways,
    and other modules.
  • Expertise in PHP 7+ and MySQL development.
  • Experience with database management and scripting.
  • Deep knowledge of caching management (Redis, Varnish) and web server
    troubleshooting (Nginx and Apache).
  • Strong debugging, testing, and code analysis skills.
  • Preferred experience with Magento Extension development and CodeIgniter
    framework.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make code live and ensure quality assurance.

Qualifications

  • Full-time Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science or a related field (B.Sc,
    B.Tech, M.Sc., MCA, MTech) with 5-7 years of experience in Magento Development.
  • Preferred Magento Certified Developer.
  • Available to join within 30-40 days.
