About the Role

We are seeking a WordPress & Shopify Developer Intern with prior hands-on experience in WordPress (Elementor, WooCommerce), Shopify, and core web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP). This role is suited for candidates who have already worked on projects (academic, freelance, or professional) and can contribute immediately while further strengthening their skills in real client environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize WordPress websites using Elementor, custom themes, and plugins.

  • Work on WooCommerce stores: product setup, payment gateways, and custom features.

  • Contribute to Shopify store development, including theme edits and app integrations.

  • Write and modify HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP for functionality and styling.

  • Implement API integrations (payment, shipping, CRM, etc.).

  • Assist in website deployment and hosting setup (cPanel, CloudPanel, or similar).

  • Ensure sites are responsive, SEO-friendly, and optimized for performance.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Prior experience (internship, freelance, or projects) with WordPress development.

  • Exposure to WooCommerce and Shopify customization.

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

  • Familiarity with website deployment/hosting environments.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and work independently with minimal supervision.

Good to Have

  • Experience with third-party integrations (APIs, CRMs, shipping, etc.).

  • Basic knowledge of Git/version control.

  • Understanding of UI/UX and SEO basics.
