**Job Title: Store Incharge – Real Estate Projects

Location: Division office/Head office

Department: Stores & Inventory Management

Reporting To: BU Head

Role Purpose**
The Store Incharge is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of construction materials, tools, and equipment at the real estate project site. This role ensures timely availability of materials, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to safety and compliance standards to support smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management
  • Receive, verify, and record incoming materials, tools, and consumables.
  • Maintain updated stock registers (manual & digital) with accurate entries.
  • Conduct periodic stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation with system data.
  • Material Handling & Issuance
  • Issue materials to site engineers and contractors as per approved requisitions.
  • Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) method for perishable/expirable items.
  • Maintain proper tagging, stacking, and identification of material
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note), MRN (Material Receipt Note), and other records.
  • Maintain vendor-wise material inward/outward registers.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management review.
  • Coordination & Liaison
  • will be able to handle a large no. of team

key skills and competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, or inventory management software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage workload in fast-paced project environments.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate / Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or related field preferred.
  • 15 to 18 years of experience in store/inventory management at construction/real estate projects.

Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Tally, etc.) will be an added advantage.

  • Coordinate with procurement/purchase teams for timely supply of materials.
