Job Description:

- 6-9 years of Experience within design work, preferably within technology areas with similarities to the actual position.- Analog and digital circuit design- Microcontroller selection and building external circuitry for its peripherals- Use of ADC / DAC and its interface with microcontrollers- Experience in switch mode power supply, LDO design- Simulation of electronic circuit and component using simulation tools PSPICE, LTSPICE- Electronic component evaluation for suitability and characteristics- Good knowledge in Circuit board schematic and PCB layout design, using eCAD toolchain like Altium, Cadence Allegro, etc.- Awareness of DFM (design for manufacturing) and DFT (design for testing) guidelines- Exposure to reliability calculation, MTBF, fault tolerant design, worst case circuit analysis- Experience in providing input to PCB engineer for placement and routing and review of finished PCB layouts- Experience in working with Mechanical CAD engineer for defining right enclosure for electronics- Experience in BOM cost optimization- Good knowledge in design for EMC- Experience in using electronic measuring equipment like oscilloscope, function generator, etc.- Experience in pre-compliance and compliance testing- Good knowledge in vehicle communication protocols (CAN/LIN)- Good knowledge in Requirements engineering and associated tools like DOORS, Enterprise Architect, PTC Integrity- General knowledge of development processes, methods, and tools.- Personal qualities appropriate for working in a design team; analytical, structured, good communicative skills and able to take initiatives.- Exposure to component obsolescence management- Exposure of using any PLM tool- Fluent knowledge in English, spoken and written
