Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security tools, systems, and processes to protect the organization's IT environment.
• Monitor networks, systems, and applications for security breaches and anomalies.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential risks.
• Respond to and manage security incidents, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
• Implement and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, and SIEM tools.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure security is integrated into systems and applications.
• Conduct user training and awareness programs on cybersecurity best practices.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, risk assessments, and compliance audits.
• Stay up to date with the latest security technologies, threats, and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Security Engineer, Information Security Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption technologies.
• Experience with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint security solutions.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA).
• Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and incident response skills.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, OSCP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
