About our Hyderabad Global Technical Centre:

About the role:
As a Design Draftsperson at Orica, you'll be instrumental in delivering Orica's Technology roadmap. Based in our welcoming office environment and part of a truly diverse team, you'll be tasked with preparing designs, specifications, and drawings, while championing our Design Quality Plan (DQP) in our cutting-edge drawing management system. You'll also play a vital role in managing the drafting workload and ensuring deliverables are met, all while being part of a collaborative team.
What You'll Be Doing:
Bring designs to life for both Delivery Systems and Fixed Plant.
Ensure all drafting adheres to our meticulous DQP system.
Collaborate closely with team members to manage drafting workflow, priorities, and resources.
Create concept layouts and designs for approval, contributing to the innovative solutions we're known for.
Maintain a sharp focus on safety, ensuring all designs meet our rigorous safety standards.
Utilize your expertise to create detailed construction drawings and specifications across various engineering disciplines.
Continuously improve drawing production and design procedures, driving efficiency and excellence.
Stay up-to-date with relevant industry standards and regulations, ensuring our designs are always cutting-edge.
What You'll Bring:
A tertiary or technical qualification in engineering, drafting, or design, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in both AutoCad and SolidWorks
Up to 2 years of post-qualification experience for candidates with formal qualifications, or up to 10 years of relevant administrative experience for those without formal qualifications.
Strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques.
A keen eye for detail and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Proven experience in creating detailed construction drawings and specifications for fixed and mobile plants.
Excellent communication and skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
A steadfast commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
