Role & responsibilities

  • Design and analyze steel structures, including Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), ensuring all designs are safe, economical, and comply with all relevant regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Utilize structural design software such as STAAD.Pro, MBS, and AutoCAD to create detailed designs and blueprints.
  • Estimate and design various types of structural buildings (PEB), selecting appropriate materials and sizes, and preparing a comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Collaborate with the team to develop designs that align with project budgets and timelines, actively seeking cost-effective solutions.
  • Track project progress and provide technical insights and recommendations in project meetings.
  • Review and approve detailed structural drawings and blueprints, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
  • Assist in the development of cost estimates and project timelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in steel design and construction.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Diploma OR Bachelor's degree in Civil / Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
  • Proven experience in the design and steel structures (PEB).
  • Strong understanding of steel design codes and standards, such as AISC, IS800/ 801/ 875, Eurocode, and others.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design tools, including STAAD.Pro, MBS, and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
