Overview The AgencyDevelopment Manager plays a crucial role in the development andexecution of business strategies to drive sustainable growth andexpansion for the company. They are responsible for recruitingtraining and motivating a team of agents or representatives toeffectively sell the company s products and services. Additionallythey establish and maintain strong relationships with agenciesmonitor performance metrics and drive the achievement of salestargets.Keyresponsibilities
  • Recruit train anddevelop a team of agents orrepresentatives.
  • Set sales targets and ensurethey are met by the team.
  • Develop and executestrategic business plans to expand the agencynetwork.
  • Ensure compliance with companypolicies procedures and regulatoryrequirements.
  • Monitor and analyze performancemetrics to identify areas forimprovement.
  • Establish and maintain strongrelationships with agencies and keystakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing support andmotivation to the agency team to optimizeperformance.
  • Conduct regular performanceevaluations and provide feedback to theteam.
  • Collaborate with other departments tosupport the agency team s needs.
  • Represent thecompany at industry events conferences and tradeshows.
  • Stay updated with market trendscompetitor activities and industrydevelopments.
  • Participate in the development ofmarketing and promotional materials.
  • Drive theimplementation of incentive programs to reward topperformingagents.
  • Prepare and present reports on agencyperformance and market trends to seniormanagement.
Requiredqualifications
  • Bachelor s degree inbusiness marketing or a related field.
  • Provenexperience in sales business development orinsurance.
  • Demonstrated success in recruitingmanaging and leading a sales team.
  • Indepthknowledge of insurance products and industryregulations.
  • Strong communication negotiationand interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent leadershipmotivational and coaching abilities.
  • Ability toanalyze data and make strategic businessdecisions.
  • Track record of meeting or exceedingsales targets and key performanceindicators.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office andCRM software.
  • Ability to travel to meet withagencies and attend industry events asneeded.
  • Certification in insurance or relevantfield is a plus.
  • Strong understanding ofmarketing and promotional strategies.
  • Abilityto work independently and collaboratively within a teamenvironment.
  • Proven ability to adapt to changeand drive innovation within the agencynetwork.
