  • About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Freelance Online Math Teacher to provide high-quality virtual tutoring to students across different grade levels. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, interactive, and personalized online lessons that help students strengthen their understanding of mathematical concepts and improve academic performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-on-one or group online math tutoring sessions through video conferencing platforms.
  • Teach concepts from basic arithmetic to advanced topics (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Statistics, etc.) depending on student requirements.
  • Assess students' learning levels and customize lesson plans accordingly.
  • Assign and review practice problems, worksheets, and homework.
  • Track student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents (if applicable).
  • Prepare students for school exams, board exams, competitive exams.
  • Use digital teaching tools (whiteboard, screen sharing, math software/apps) to enhance learning.
  • Maintain punctuality and professionalism while managing a flexible teaching schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
  • Prior teaching/tutoring experience (online) is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
  • Comfortable using online teaching tools and technology.
  • Self-motivated, patient, and committed to student success.
  • Reliable internet connection, laptop/PC with webcam, and a quiet teaching environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CBSE Curriculum.
  • Ability to teach across multiple grade levels (Middle school, High school, College prep).
  • Previous experience working with EdTech platforms.
