SCS provides ITinfrastructure services, technology consulting and systems integration services, while also serving as a software reseller and serviceproviderRole Summary:The Senior Analyst is responsible for developing & maintaining system functionality, providing system maintenance & enhancements, andrunning and protecting the business by providing support for critical Retail and associated applications in the area of Sales Audit,Commissions & STORES. The associate is expected to participate in an ongoing migration project & Production support, which willinvolve fine-tuning COBOL programs and SQL tuning.Expected to work on support in production and lower environments, enhancements and modifications to the existing legacy systemsand/or development for the new projects of various sizes and complexities; you will implement all the required application changesthrough analysis, design, testing, documentation and training.You lead by example, and can easily maintain your composure under pressure.Partner closely with Product teams and IT development teams to build necessary project plans and work streams to supportdelivery of personalization objectivesCommunicating with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to provide updates on progress and ensure alignment withobjectivesFlexible, and can adapt to change well.You are comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, and changing environment.A self-starter can work independently and thrive in collaborative teams.You are proactive, accountable, and responsible for the assigned task regardless of the task’s complexity and magnitude.You are a determined, intuitive and creative problem solver who can get into the code, identify the root cause and providecorrective options, often quickly and under pressure.Work collaboratively with other team membersPartner closely with Product teams and IT development teamsYou are creative with a strategic mindset along with the ability to turn concepts into well thought out solutions.Possess the ability to make decisions and take an innovative approach to business problems.You have strong communication & interpersonal skills with focus on teamwork, sharing knowledge & expertise as it relates tothe role.You are a real self-starter, clearly self-motivated and can independently maintain your own work-flow to meet all deadlines.

Job Qualifications

Key Qualifications:·A minimum of 4-8 years’ experience in Mainframe Development & Support.·Proficiency in core mainframe technology areas like DB2 and SQL, Cobol, CICS, JCL, VSAM & TSO.·Strong experience of file handling with COBOL. Should have knowledge of tuning COBOL programs.·Experience with CADE, UC4 or ESP scheduling tool is added advantage.·Should have worked in development, maintenance, support and enhancement projects.·Experience in Change and Release management (IBM Rational Suite Tools).·Good interpersonal and teamwork abilities, and able to adapt in a diverse working environment.·Proven and quantifiable track record of success in delivering results within a large complex organization.·Strong analytical and problem solving skills.·Good formal and informal communication skills in English (written and verbal).·A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
