Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing policies and procedures, managing employee relations and benefits, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role will join the existing human resources team in a senior role.

The Human Resources department is responsible for leading the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function within the company. This role requires a strong understanding of human resources practices and regulations, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the development and execution of significantly enhanced talent management and retention strategies and processes. To build on current practices of attracting and retaining world-class talent
  • Analyze, interpret and apply talent and performance metrics to help influence change and develop business strategies and solutions that will optimize talent and drive high performing teams
  • Develop and implement human resources policies and procedures
  • Manage employee relations, including investigations, disciplinary actions and grievances
  • Develop competency models as the framework for defined career paths
  • Facilitate discussions and offer constructive feedback between employees and managers
  • Builds organizational capability through development and/or facilitation of appropriate senior leadership team (i.e., team effectiveness, goal development and alignment, manager capability)
  • Design and lead initiatives to drive the change in HR - Identify, prioritize and recommend possible actions to drive the HR journey
  • Support/drive initiatives and efficient processes, in the areas of learning/training, leadership, performance and succession, talent acquisition/recruiting organizational development efforts
  • Providing counsel on employee relations strategy, including investigation of issues, government programs and compliance with legal requirements, disciplinary actions, and coaching support
  • Effectively partnering with operational teammates and senior leadership on key issues, and business strategy
  • Leadership and oversight of labor relations strategy including administration of the same (generating PF challan, PT, POSH, etc.)

Qualifications and experience:

relevant degree such as Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, Business/Administration, MBA, Human Resources Management, Management, Psychology, Graduate, Administration

  • Experience within a highly respected company with a track record of developing collaborative relationships with top levels of management and an understanding of what it takes to drive a truly innovative culture
  • Ability to communicate and act with a high level of passion and enthusiasm, and be energized by the opportunity to drive HR programs with a creative and fun approach consistent with CountHQ core values
  • Relevant expertise in succession planning and talent management across all levels of the organization
  • experience in recruitment tracking and people management software is preferred
  • Experience in planning and budgeting of staff for future company requirements
  • Previous experience managing change and uncertainty with an organization experiencing explosive growth while showing the ability to anticipate and respond to future changes and opportunities
  • High energy level and a positive attitude
  • Focus on results people with sound judgment ability to balance other business considerations
  • Manages diverse relationships well
  • Minimum 10 years supervisory experience in HR department, preferably in a multi site environment
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, experience in Zoho app preferred
  • Written and Oral English Language skills
  • Needs strong change management, analytical skills, operational partnership skills, teambuilding, relationship orientation, excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative matrixed environment

  • Shift timing: Australian shift – 7.30am to 4.30pm
  • 5 days working
