Senior Officer- Electronics quality engineer

Monitor and enforce quality assurance procedures in PCB and electronics assembly processes (SMT, soldering).

Monitoring incoming, in-process, and final inspections as per IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610).

Identify root causes of assembly defects (e.g., solder bridging, component misalignment) and lead corrective action plans.

Work closely with Production, Production Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues.

Perform process audits and product audits, document findings, and follow up on action closures.

Develop and update control plans, work instructions, inspection checklists, and FMEA documents.

Maintain quality data records, prepare monthly quality reports, and monitor Key Quality Index.

Conduct training for operators and inspectors on quality standards and workmanship criteria.

Coordinate customer complaints handling (8D / CAPA reports).

Assist in internal and external audits (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, customer audits, etc.).

Skills and Competencies:

Knowledge of IPC standards (especially IPC-A-610, J-STD-001).

Experience in electronics manufacturing processes (SMT, reflow, hand soldering).

Problem-solving tools: 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D, FMEA, Pareto.

Familiar with quality tools: SPC, MSA, CAPA.

Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and basic SAP systems.

Good communication and cross-functional collaboration.
