We are looking for an “Intern – UAV Embedded Hardware Engineer” to join our growing product development team. Requirement is immediate, and we are looking for candidates who are passionate about UAS/ Drones and aerospace systems.

 

Role: Intern – UAV Embedded Hardware Engineer

Functional Area: Aerospace Engineering or similar

Employment type: Full-time, Permanent

Industry: Aerospace (UAS)

Location: Gurgaon


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test printed circuit boards (PCBs) for various hardware applications.
  • Assist in the development and integration of hardware subsystems, ensuring seamless communication between components.
  • Work with various communication protocols including I2C, SPI, UART, RS-485, and more to ensure proper interfacing and functionality of hardware components.
  • Collaborate with the firmware and software teams to ensure smooth integration of hardware and software components.
  • Participate in the schematic design, layout, and verification processes for PCBs.
  • Conduct testing, debugging, and validation of hardware designs to meet project specifications and requirements.
  • Document designs, processes, and test results, ensuring all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in hardware development and communication protocols.


Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of PCB design principles, including schematic capture and layout using tools like KiCad, Altium Designer, or similar.
  • Familiarity with various communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, RS-485, etc.
  • Experience with hardware debugging tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with power management and signal integrity considerations in PCB design.
  • Familiarity with hardware simulation tools for circuit analysis and validation.
  • Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, sensors, and other embedded systems components.
  • Knowledge of EMC/EMI design practices and standards.
  • Experience working on drone hardware, including propulsion systems, communication modules, and payload integration.
