Post : Head of Finance & Accounts

Location : Andheri W, Mumbai
Qualification : CA

Experience : 10 years

Salary : 20 LPA

The Head of Finance & Accounts will lead the organizations financial strategy, planning, management, and reporting functions. This role is responsible for overseeing all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, taxation, audits, compliance, and financial controls, while providing strategic insights to support business growth and profitability.

Job Profile

Financial Strategy & Leadership


• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.


• Advise management on long-term business and financial planning.


• Lead financial risk management, cost optimization, and investment strategies.

Accounting & Reporting


• Oversee preparation of accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).


• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IND-AS/IFRS/GAAP as applicable).


• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.


• Present financial performance reports and analysis to the Board/Management.

Budgeting & Forecasting


• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.


• Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to approved budgets.


• Provide financial insights to improve operational and strategic decisions.

Taxation & Compliance


• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including Income Tax, GST, Companies Act, FEMA, and other applicable laws.


• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.


• Oversee internal audits and implement recommendations.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management


• Manage working capital, liquidity, and banking relationships.


• Optimize capital structure and funding requirements.


• Oversee payables, receivables, and credit control.

Team Leadership


• Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team.


• Establish effective internal controls and SOPs for financial operations.


• Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
