Freelance Product Designer

Role Description

• We are seeking an exceptional AI-First
  Product Designer
  for a
  contract
  position at tryCoM AI. This is a critical role for someone who truly understands how to create compelling products in today's AI-first world and can transform complex AI capabilities into intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
• You will be responsible for redesigning and enhancing our product's user interface and experience, working closely with our founding team to create designs that make AI-powered social media marketing accessible and delightful for our users.
• As a contract designer working with our founding team, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape the visual and interaction design of a fast-growing AI platform, with the potential for future full-time opportunities based on performance and mutual fit.
• We need someone who can hit the ground running, understand our product vision quickly, and deliver high-quality design work within tight timelines. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where your design decisions will directly impact our path to $1M ARR.
• This role can be executed
  remotely
  or from our office at IITM Research Park, with flexible working arrangements to accommodate the contract nature.

Qualifications

• Min. of
  3-5 years of experience
  in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing AI/ML product design or SaaS platforms.
• Deep expertise in
  design thinking, user research, wireframing, prototyping,
  and
  visual design
  .
• Proficiency in design tools such as
  Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite,
  and prototyping tools like
  Framer
  or
  Principle
  .
• Experience designing for
  AI-powered products
  or
  complex data-driven applications
  with a focus on making sophisticated functionality accessible.
• Strong understanding of
  UX/UI principles
  for web and mobile applications, particularly in the B2B SaaS space.
• Experience with
  design systems, component libraries,
  and maintaining consistency across multiple product touchpoints.
• Knowledge of
  social media platforms
  and understanding of content creation workflows is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
• A quick learner with an entrepreneurial mindset who can work independently and adapt to changing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Redesign key user interfaces and flows for our AI-powered content marketing platform, focusing on
  usability and visual appeal
  .
• Create
  wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
  that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
• Conduct
  user research and usability testing
  to validate design decisions and iterate based on feedback from our existing 11+ beta customers.
• Develop and refine our
  design system and component library
  to ensure consistency across all product touch points.
• Design intuitive interfaces for complex AI features, making
  AI-generated content creation
  feel seamless and natural.
• Collaborate closely with our development team to ensure
  design feasibility and proper implementation
  .
• Create designs that work across multiple social media platforms (
  Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter
  ) and their respective posting/analytics interfaces.
• Design
  onboarding flows
  that help users quickly understand and leverage our AI capabilities.
• Optimize existing designs for better
  conversion rates and user engagement
  .
• Work with the founding team to establish design principles that will guide future product development.
• Create
  high-fidelity mockups
  ready for development handoff with proper specifications and assets.
