Role: Technical Manager Avionics

Location: Bangalore & Trivandrum

Experience: 12-18 years

Role and Responsibilities

Avionics Software Development and Verification (Flight Management, Flight Controls, Instruments, LRUs) Ensure Software complying to DO-178C and DO254 Strong experience in SW Development Life Cycle (Preferably V-Model) Sound experience with effort estimation and project planning Experience in nurturing talent, planning for career progression, upskill Knowledge of SW development processes (CMMI/ISO etc.) Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills; able to manage diverse teams. Escalations management and negotiation skill Plan for the Talent pool, work with talent acquisition team.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

BE / B. Tech / MSc / ME / M. Tech in Avionics/Aeronautical/Electronics & Communication/ Electronics /Embedded

Must Have:

  • Experience in DO-178C, DO-254, DP160 and ARP Standards
  • Team Management of size not less than 20
  • Have experience in managing customer escalations independently
  • Experience mentoring, coaching and developing rising talent in the technology department
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams
  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
