Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support and Solutions:
Serve as the primary technical resource for customers, providing expertise on product applications and resolving technical issues.
Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions that align with their needs and project specifications.
Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase product capabilities and benefits.
2. Product Application and Development:
Collaborate with the product development team and clients to understand new product features and functionalities.
Customize and optimize product applications to meet specific customer needs, ensuring effective and efficient use.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including application notes, user guides, and installation instructions.
3. Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their technical challenges and providing timely support.
Conduct site visits and customer meetings to gather feedback, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful product integration.
Provide training and support to customers on product usage and best practices.
4. Project Management and Implementation:
Manage the technical aspects of customer projects, ensuring timely and successful implementation of solutions.
Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure alignment and meet project milestones.
Monitor project progress and address any technical concerns or challenges that arise during implementation.
5. Sales Support and Product Promotion:
Support the sales team by providing technical expertise during the sales process, including pre-sales consultations and technical evaluations.
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and promotional activities to enhance product visibility and attract new customers.
Assist in developing marketing materials and product presentations that highlight key technical features and benefits.
6. Reporting and Feedback:
Track and report on application performance, customer satisfaction, and technical issues.
Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product development and improvement.
Prepare regular reports for management on project status, customer engagement, and technical support activities.
7. Compliance and Best Practices:
Ensure all technical activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to provide cutting-edge solutions and maintain technical expertise.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Metallurgical or related field); advanced degree or specialization preferred.
5-10 years of experience in a technical support or application engineering role, with a strong understanding of solar energy.
Proven ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems, with excellent troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Experience with project management and customer relationship management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
