Job DescriptionPrimary Responsibilitieso This position requires a highly competent, self-directed individual who can help shape processes and define testing standards.o We are looking for someone with experience in navigating variety of technical environments.o The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently on their own as well as contribute to group projects andcomplete tasks on schedule in a fast paced, upbeat environment.o Potential candidates should have extensive experience testing functionality, compatibility, integration of webapplications.o Design, develop, and execute automated tests using JavaScript frameworks such as Cypress, Protractor, or Nightwatcho Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects and other issueso Identify, document, and track defects through to resolutiono Develop and maintain automated test suites to ensure product qualityo Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and automationo Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness o Strong knowledge on developer tools like Chrome Dev/Firebug.o Strong knowledge on modern AFT tools like Selenium Web Driver.o Strong knowledge on deployment practices into Production environments and Jenkins pipelines in includingJenkins DSL to create and modify pipelines.o Knowledge on HTML5 and CSS and modern web development technologies.o You understand the importance of not only testing but also reporting, especially in the context of CI/CDtooling. You have experience with source code systems like Bitbucket or equivalent.o Participate in daily cross-functional SCRUMs for projects running concurrently.o Produce status reports, prioritize bugs, and contribute to Sprint planning sessions.o Familiarity on how web applications are deployed in the context of cloud environments and container-basedtechnologies like docker.o Lead the functional team, provide guidance and enable continuous skill development in the functional area o Manage and mentor QA engineers on your team, to grow their skills and prepare them for increasedresponsibility.Required Skills:Bachelor in Engineering (B.E./ B.Tech Degree) with 7+ years of experience in developing/scripting automated functional tests in JavaScript.

The ideal candidate will have spent at least one year mentoring or leading junior QA engineers

Interested in expanding your history of mentorship and guidance into a leadership role.

Experience with JavaScript programming and frameworks such as Cypress, Protractor, or Nightwatch

Solid understanding of testing methodologies and practices

Expertise in automating complex head less applications and web applications using complex frameworks.

Experience with test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr is a plus

Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.

Familiarity with software configuration management, release management and database manipulation like git, bitbucket, Jenkins etc.

Strong knowledge on modern cloud-based development practices in AWS/GCP and container native technologies like docker.

Highly proficient in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to deliver and manage deadlines in an agile development environment.
