At Tejas Networks, System Engineering team, integral to the PLM organization, plays a crucial role in crafting every successful customer experience. Comprising skilled and committed professionals from various wireline technology domains, the team ensures that customers enjoy a seamless and gratifying journey from pre-sales through to network deployment and beyond. System Engineering division is a close-knit group of network enthusiasts dedicated to designing and implementing robust, maintenance-free networks that stand the test of time.

What you work:

As a Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for driving development and sustenance various Network Functions and/or platform for our Testing Team. You’ll lead technical initiatives, mentor team members and collaborate closely with cross functional teams to drive innovation and ensure high-quality deliverables. You’ll leverage your expertise to solve challenging problems and contribute to strategic engineering decisions.

Initial deployments of new optical products, new optical technology, major feature roll outsStage the customer deployment in lab to replicate field scenarios and test the solution prior to field deploymentResponsible to document LLD based on HLDResponsible for RFI/RFP.Be a customer champion for deployment, solutioning and technical concernsHandle product demonstrations, lab and field Proof of Concepts (POCs)Prepare test plans for POCs, demos and carry out internal testing of the sameBe the Subject Matter Expert on product capabilities and network solutionsWork with the SE team to prepare and enhance solution documents based on lab validationInteract with diverse teams like R&D, Product Management and Sales team to understand the customer requirementsCollaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration with other systemsMonitor and troubleshoot network issues with NSG & TAC TeamDevelop and implement network security measuresStay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Mandatory skills:

Should be willing to travelShould have hands on experience in optical product testing, optical product deployments in the fieldShould have customer interaction experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience:

11 to 14 yrs from Telecommunication or Networking background.Education:

B.Tech/BE (CSE/ECE) or any other equivalent degreeShould be well versed in OTN, DWDM, Optical link budgeting and GMPLS
