Job Title: ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

Reporting to: Team Manager

Working Terms: Full-Time (UK Time)

Work Base: Working remotely from anywhere in India

Brilserve is looking to recruit an experienced ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT with experience ideally to work with a skilled team of professionals. We are looking for someone who can work well under pressure and is able to communicate well on the phone and via email.


As you will be dealing with UK clients, high proficiency in English communication in both speaking and writing is essential to this role. The ideal candidate is excellent in handling spreadsheets and proactive in solving issues. This position is very varied and can be demanding so excellent organizational skills are a MUST. You will be responsible.


  • Creating and issuing invoices to clients on a monthly/regular basis
  • Chasing invoices from contractors and advise for payment.
  • Advise/Recoup the amount on monthly administration invoices.
  • Chasing/escalating monthly invoice and payments to keep sustainable cashflow.
  • Ensure that debtor information is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to the collections team.
  • Reconciliation of company financial records with bank statements.
  • Reconcile Financial discrepancies, record information and advise respective heads
  • Publish financial statements and reports on time.
  • Update parties on renewals and price updations as per advised.
  • Guide accounting staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
  • Create invoices, send payment reminders, and track outstanding receivables.
  • Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
  • Internal and External email, message and call handling to support payment chase and notifications with clients third party contractors.
  • Record, update and maintain CRM and reporting spreadsheets as directed, and Assist in generating reports and providing data for financial analysis
  • Generating monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, and providing data for financial analysis; collaborate with management to create an annual budget.
  • Prepare year-end financial statements, for tax purposes and audits if required.
  • To maintain accurate accounting records, update accounts receivable, and document all payments received.
  • Record and maintain staff Expense reports, and proof of expense, and evaluate monthly payables.
  • Record and maintain reimbursements on pre-paid cards for vehicle and food.
  • Document general Office transactions by entering account information and maintaining proof of expense.
  • Preparation of monthly timesheets ready for payroll and point of contact for pay queries from staff.
  • New profit sheets - Update and maintain, and look forward to new instructions from the management and follow through


Requirements for the Job:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounts or a relative field
  • 2+ years of experience in relative position
  • Experience in Xero, and QuickBooks. Should be able to create reports via Excel/Spreadsheet once they have looked over the data
  • Must have experience in credit control, data entry, and monthly reconciliation
  • Excellent data interpretation skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English is a must
  • Familiarity with CRM programs, and databases.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Preference to candidates who have worked on US and UK process
  • Preference to candidates who has worked in Real estate or Banking sectors.
