TABQUARTZ , a leading manufacturer of high-quality engineered quartz surfaces, is seeking an exceptionally talented and experienced Production Manager to join our team in Hosur, India.

About the Role:In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production for our quartz lines. You will play a key leadership role in ensuring efficient operations, maintaining the highest quality standards, and meeting production targets.

Responsibilities:Strict adherence to the daily production targets and timelines as per PPC schedulesManage and motivate production teams to achieve

the set performance goals.Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, minimize downtime, and enhance overall productivity.Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide the necessary inputs to the team to enhance the skill levels of the personnel.Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, and procurement departments to ensure smooth operations and material availability.Monitor production costs and instill internal systems for cost control and cost reduction.Maintain accurate production records and reports.Manage and troubleshoot production equipment malfunctions, liaising with maintenance for repairs when necessary.Implementation of 5S concepts of good housekeeping & optimize the utilization of production facilities.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field) preferred.Minimum 15+ years of hands-on experience in a production environment, preferably in engineered stone, ceramics, or a similar process industry.At least 5-6 years of experience in a senior production management role.Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating production teams.Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).In-depth knowledge of quartz stone production processes and machinery.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in MS Office Suite and production planning software (e.g., SAP).Knowledge of Tamil is a plus.
