Overview The JavaBackend Developer plays a crucial role in our organization bydeveloping and maintaining the serverside logic ensuring highperformance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend. Theycollaborate with the frontend developers design and implement datastorage solutions and are involved in integrating userfacingelements with serverside logic.KeyResponsibilities
  • Develop and maintainJavabased backend services andapplications
  • Collaborate with frontenddevelopers to integrate userfacingelements
  • Design and implement efficient andreusable Java code
  • Ensure the best possibleperformance quality and responsiveness of theapplications
  • Create and maintain optimal datastorage solutions
  • Implement security and dataprotection
  • Write unit tests for code robustnessand reliability
  • Collaborate in an Agileenvironment to deliver highqualitysoftware
  • Participate in architectural anddesign reviews
  • Debug and resolve technicalissues in a timely manner
  • Deploy applicationson cloud platforms
  • Utilize source control andcontinuous integration toolseffectively
  • Document code and technicaldesigns
  • Stay current with industry trends andbest practices
  • Contribute to the overalltechnical architecture and vision of thesystem
RequiredQualifications
  • Bachelors or Mastersdegree in Computer Science or a relatedfield
  • Proven experience as a Java BackendDeveloper or similar role
  • Proficiency in Javawith a good understanding of JVM its limitations weaknesses andworkarounds
  • Experience with Spring frameworkfor developing Java applications
  • Strongknowledge of objectoriented programming and designpatterns
  • Experience in developing and consumingRESTful APIs
  • Proficiency in SQL and databasemanagement
  • Experience in building and deployingmicroservices
  • Understanding of code versioningtools such as Git
  • Experience with Agilemethodologies and tools
  • Ability to troubleshootand debug complex issues
  • Excellentcommunication and teamworkskills
  • Problemsolving aptitude and a strongwork ethic
  • Ability to work independently andtake ownership of tasks
  • Continuous learning andadaptation to newtechnologies
