Job Description:
We are looking for a talented QA Engineer (API Automation) with expertise in automation and performance testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with API validation using Postman, test automation using Robot Framework , scalability testing using JMeter for various load patterns, and a strong understanding of Agile practices. Additionally, experience withGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) , as well as CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
Responsibilities:
● Develop and execute automated tests for APIs using Postman and Robot Framework .
● Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient automated test frameworks for API testing.
● Perform API security testing and ensure API performance through tools like JMeter .
● Collaborate closely with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
● Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
● Utilize tools such as Polarion, Jira - SynapseRT Test Management for test case design and management.
● Conduct scalability testing to assess system performance under various load conditions.
● Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for continuous testing and regression.
● Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and automation strategies.
● Stay updated with industry best practices and technologies related to software testing and automation.
Requirements:
● 8+ years of experience in API Testing
● Experience in API Automation with Postman
● Experience with Robot Framework Automation
● Strong Software Testing with Mind map , Test Case design in Polarion or Jira - SynapseRT Test Management
● Experience with Scalability Testing tools like JMeter etc..
● Should have knowledge of API Security & Performance Testing
● Good to have Microservice , GCP K nowledge
● CI-CD experience to integrate with Jenkins for daily Automation & regression.
● Basic Android or Mobile Application Testing
● Good experience working on Projects with Agile Methodologies
