About The Company
We are a Bay-Area (California) based security data platform that enables teams to be more effective by building the infrastructure modern security teams need to most effectively use their security data. Through its AI-enabled “Security Engineer” (SE), the company is able to reduce analyst workloads by providing context to understand the nuance in disparate data sets. This helps companies’ security analysts spend more time on what matters, remediating issues, by overcoming time-consuming data preparation tasks and compute intensive queries. The company provides the collection infrastructure, observability pipelines, security analytics and smart data management through its turnkey data lake solution. By bifurcating security and compliance data, the company is able to provide high-fidelity security data in real-time while reducing costs.
About Role:
We are seeking a Sr. Full Stack Developer to drive customer facing features with technical authority and uphold our product's high standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for UI design, provide insights during design reviews, and be responsible for taking ownership of features across UI and API. Mastery over JavaScript, React, and CSS, combined with experience in python, specifically web API development. The candidate should also exhibit excellent collaboration skills, a commitment to mentoring junior team members, and a keen understanding of our target customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design Excellence: Participate actively in design reviews, bringing a deep passion for high-quality UIs & APIs, providing constructive feedback and innovative solutions.
2. Customer Understanding: Develop a robust understanding of our target customers, their needs, and the primary ways they will utilize our product.
3. Component Library Ownership: Lead, maintain, and optimize our UI component library, ensuring it is comprehensive, up-to-date, and easily usable for the development team.
4. Mentorship: Guide junior team members, setting high standards and ensuring they are met. Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
5. Tech Stack Mastery: Possess an in-depth mastery over JavaScript, React, CSS, and python (fast-API, Django, flask), leveraging this expertise to create seamless and scalable web applications.
6. Continuous Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure the product's UI aligns with business goals and user needs.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
2. Proven experience as shipping high quality web applications, Sr. UI Developer, or a similar leadership role.
3. Expertise in JavaScript, React, CSS, and familiarity with other modern UI/UX technologies and tools.
4. Demonstrated passion for design and user experience, backed by a portfolio showcasing your work.
5. Ability to articulate and champion UI/API best practices and standards.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
