We are looking for a solid candidate for a Sr. PHP Developer (CONTRACTUAL).

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer with a proven track record of building scalable, high-performance web applications. You should have deep expertise in PHP (Laravel/Symfony), RESTful APIs, database design, and cloud deployments. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to architect and develop solutions for complex business requirements.

Role & responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using PHP (Laravel/Symfony).
  • Architect scalable backend systems and optimize existing code for performance and scalability.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
  • Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and QA to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across the stack and provide root cause analysis.
  • Work in an Agile environment with continuous integration and delivery

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of strong PHP development experience.
  • Deep understanding of Laravel, Symfony, or other modern PHP frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and architectural principles.
  • Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, and web services integration.
  • Proficiency in MySQL/PostgreSQL, and experience with NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines is a big plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex backend logic.
