We are looking for passionate SDET engineers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and testing, with a focus on test automation. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications through the development and execution of automated tests.

Responsibilities:

Automate UI and API testingDevelop and execute automated test scripts using Java or JavaScript, with a focus on either Selenium or PlayWright or Cypress test framework (Java and JavaScript preferred)Collaborate with developers to identify and prioritize test cases for automationIntegrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery pipeline using CI/CD Pipelines.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated testsParticipate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and qualityDesign test strategy and Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test dataCommunicate test results and progress to the team and stakeholdersContinuously improve the test automation framework and processes

Essential experience/requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field4-6 years of experience in software development and testing, with a focus on test automationStrong programming skills in Java, JavaScriptStrong exposure and experience in REST API Testing and automation and exposure to tools like SOAP UI, Postman, Rest Assured or SwaggerKnowledge of CI CD, DevOps pipeline and containerisation using Docker and KubernetesKnowledge of any one of the leading cloud service providers - AWS, Azure, GCPExperience with Cypress or PlayWright test framework is a bonusExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesSpecialised in both front end & back end testingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentSelf-motivated with a strong desire to learn and improve
