A Landscape Project Manager oversees and manages all aspects of landscape projects, from design and installation to maintenance, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget, while also managing staff and communicating with clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Planning and Management:
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Oversee all aspects of the project, from initial design to final completion.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage resources, including staff, equipment, and materials.

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.

  • Client Communication and Management:

  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly.
  • Quality Control and Assurance:
  • Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Inspect projects regularly to identify and address any quality issues.
  • Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure that all projects are conducted in a safe and responsible manner.

  • Comply with all relevant safety regulations and standards.

  • Budget Management:

  • Prepare and track project budgets.

  • Manage project costs effectively.

  • Coordination:

  • Coordinate with other professionals, such as landscape architects, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Manage procurement processes, including bid evaluations, caontract negotiations, and vendor selection.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Project Management Skills:

Planning, organizing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and problem-solving.
- Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Technical Skills:

Knowledge of trees and plants

along with the landscaping principles, design, installation, and maintenance practices.
- Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Organizational Skills:

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and stay organized.
- Attention to Detail:

Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.
- Knowledge of Local Regulations:

Familiarity with local landscaping regulations and standards.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Ms PowerPoint and MS Excel) is mandatory

Experience in real estate, architecture, Horticulture or even Interior, Exterior designing will be an added advantage.
