Position Title: Senior Project Engineer - AIOps (Grade 5)  

Department: Project Implementation / AIOps  

Reports To: AIOps Project Lead / Project Implementation Manager  

Location: Gurgaon  

  

Position Overview:  

 The Grade 5 Senior Project Engineer - AIOps (NMS, ITSM, etc) will be responsible for overseeing the deployment, implementation, and optimization of AIOps solutions in client environments. This role includes leading technical teams in designing and executing automation frameworks, integrating AI-driven monitoring tools, and ensuring the successful delivery of AIOps projects. The Senior Project Engineer will collaborate with clients, cross-functional teams, and project managers, providing technical leadership, mentoring team members, and ensuring that all AIOps solutions meet project specifications and performance requirements.  

  

  

Key Responsibilities:   

  

  •     AIOps Solution Deployment and Leadership: Lead the deployment and integration of AIOps (NMS, ITSM, etc) platforms, ensuring efficient implementation while guiding technical teams through best practices. 
  • Team Coordination and Mentorship : Provide technical guidance, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring team alignment with project goals and objectives. manage cross functional teams for 360 degree delivery capability of the platform  
  • Automation Framework Development: Develop and implement robust automation frameworks to monitor and optimize IT operations, ensuring scalability and efficiency.  
  • Client Interaction and Technical Leadership : Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, offer technical insights, and ensure solutions align with business needs and project timelines. Lead the solution delivery to full customer satisfaction fulfillling all technical expertise. Consult the client/s on the platform and tools, with all knowledge sharing and coaching. 
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization : Oversee the monitoring of deployed solutions, analyzing performance metrics, and fine-tuning systems for optimal performance.  
  • Documentation, Knowledge Transfer, and Process Improvement : Document implementation processes and best practices and provide training to client teams. Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the implementation process.  
  • Develop all technical documents (HLD, LLD, Solution Architecture, Test Scenario etc) and coach/train the customer.  
  • Guide the junior team members and achieve the results  

    

Skills Required:   

  

  • Technical Expertise in NMS/ITSM/OSS/etc tools:  
  •  Extensive knowledge of AIOps platforms components NMS, ITSM, etc, automation frameworks, and IT operations best practices.  
  • ITIL V3 or ITIL V4 certification or equivalent  
  • Technical Skills in OS/Networking 
  • Extensive knowledge of various Linux flavors like: ubuntu/rhel/Windows in data center environment is required, RHEL Certification 
  • CCNA/CCNP expertise is required 
  • knowledge of dockers, virtual environment. 
  • Leadership and Mentoring Abilities: Proven experience in leading technical teams and mentoring junior engineers.  
  • Programming and Scripting Skills: Proficiency in languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell for developing automation solutions. 

 

  • Project Management Understanding: Familiarity with project management principles, especially in Agile or Scrum environments, to manage project timelines and deliverables. 
  • Strong Communication and Client Management Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to clients and stakeholders while managing expectations.
