About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect (ETL / ELT & Data Governance) with extensive experience in data modeling for OLTP and hands-on experience in initiating projects from scratch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, improving, and maintaining new and existing database architectures. As a Data Architect, you will work closely with our IT team and business stakeholders to develop scalable solutions for our rapidly growing business needs.
Responsibilities:
Lead data modeling initiatives for OLTP to support projects from conception to execution.
Design and implement data migration and data integration processes from various sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
Assess and improve existing databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing the appropriate measures and practices.
Collaborate with system architects, software developers, analysts, and other team members to ensure project success.
Provide SQL Server expertise, promoting best practices and troubleshooting complex issues.
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture, with a strong focus on data migration and data integration from multiple sources.
Solid experience with data modeling tools and techniques for OLTP.
Proficiency with SQL Server, including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Strong knowledge of data management principles, including data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
Ability to create and maintain documentation related to data architecture, data models, and data dictionaries.
Strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
