Responsibilities

and Attributes:1. Implementation and management of climate change mitigation projects within theframework of nature-based solutions (REDD+, Afforestation, Reforestation, Blue Carbonand Soil Organic Carbon), community level project engagements as well as other projecttypes under the current standards such as VERRA and Gold Standard and upcomingstandards2. Support and management of validation and verification audits and preparation of relevantdocumentation and reports3. Coordination of project planning, timelines, financing and reporting of a comprehensiveproject portfolio4. Support of the Marketing and Communications team in project information requests5. Strategic portfolio planning in regard of volume and cost expectations6. Management of origination activities of new project development opportunities7. Interface between the project development and other supporting teams8. Preparation and presentation of project opportunities in an investment committee9. Proactive networking with relevant organizations, project owners and developers,technology providers, industry associations, multilateral organizations, governmentagencies, and others10. Participation in relevant events and conferences in order to expand the existing projectpartner networkCompetencies1. Knowledge of GHG emission reduction standards and methodologies2. Ideally already have knowledge and experience in the area of carbon accounting or thepreparation of life cycle assessments3. Knowledge of Carbon Projects like REDD+, Afforestation, Reforestation, Blue Carbon,and Soil Organic Carbon is considered as advantage4. Team player with strong communication and negotiation skills.5. Cross border and International project experience will be an added advantage.Experience and education1. At least 2+ years of experience in the field of climate change, preferably with experiencein project management and development of CDM, VCS and Gold Standard projects andmethodologies2. Experience in project implementation over the project lifecycle3. Experience in project managementKey Skills :
