Job Summary

Leeford Healthcare Limited is seeking an experienced SEO Manager to lead our SEO strategy and drive organic growth for our healthcare and personal care e-commerce website. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented SEO expert with a deep understanding of the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and strategies, particularly in e-commerce and healthcare sectors. The SEO Manager will oversee on-page and off-page optimization, keyword research, technical SEO, and content strategies to enhance visibility, user experience, and brand authority.

Key Responsibilities

1. SEO Strategy Development:

- Design and implement comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to the healthcare and e-commerce sectors.- Define SEO objectives in alignment with business goals, including organic traffic growth, SERP ranking improvements, and conversion optimization.

1. Keyword Research & Analysis:

- Conduct detailed keyword research to identify high-impact keywords and content opportunities.- Analyze competitors’ strategies to identify potential keyword gaps and market opportunities.

1. On-Page Optimization:

- Optimize website pages, including meta titles, descriptions, headers, and content structure for target keywords.- Improve internal linking structure, URL optimization, and on-page elements to boost SERP rankings.- Collaborate with content writers to ensure content is aligned with SEO best practices and target keywords.

1. Technical SEO:

- Perform regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues affecting site performance (e.g., page speed, crawl errors, indexing issues).- Coordinate with web development teams to implement structured data, mobile-friendliness, and other technical SEO elements.- Monitor and address issues related to website architecture, duplicate content, and website speed optimization.

1. Off-Page SEO & Link Building:

- Develop and execute link-building strategies to enhance domain authority and backlink profile.- Foster relationships with industry-related websites, influencers, and other stakeholders to build high-quality backlinks.- Monitor and analyze backlink profile, identifying opportunities for improvement and disavowing harmful links.

1. Content Strategy & Optimization:

- Oversee the development of content that aligns with SEO strategy and enhances brand visibility.- Collaborate with content creators to produce high-quality blog posts, product descriptions, and landing pages optimized for search engines.

1. Analytics & Reporting:

- Track, report, and analyze website analytics and key performance metrics, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversions.- Use SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to generate insights and make data-driven decisions.- Prepare monthly performance reports, including actionable insights and recommendations.

1. Competitive & Algorithm Analysis:

- Stay updated on search engine algorithm changes and industry trends to ensure SEO strategies align with best practices.- Perform competitive analysis to identify market trends and areas for improvement.

1. Collaboration & Team Management:

- Work closely with marketing, content, and web development teams to integrate SEO strategies across all digital channels.- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, helping them develop their SEO skills and knowledge.

Requirements

- Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in SEO, with a strong background in e-commerce and healthcare.- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or related field.- Technical Skills: Proficient in SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz).- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret and leverage data to make strategic decisions and improvements.- Knowledge of Web Technologies: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how they affect SEO.- Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset.- Adaptability: Ability to adapt SEO strategies based on algorithm updates, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certifications: SEO certifications (such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, or SEMrush) are a plus.- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare or personal care industry regulations and marketing practices.- Creative Thinking: Ability to develop innovative SEO and content strategies that align with brand goals.
