Renowned for its customer-centric ethos, Blue Star is recognised for delivering innovative, value-driven products and solutions that strongly resonate in the market.About the RoleAs the Head of Chillers, you’ll own and drive the business strategy for an extensive portfolio that includes Scroll, Screw, Centrifugal, Data Center, and Brine Chillers. Your impact will be felt across product positioning, business development, strategic marketing, and customer engagement.ResponsibilitiesAchieve Billing in Volumes & Value terms as per Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly as per ABPDeliver the VA & PBT as per ABPProduct approvals by Key Consultants and Government bodiesMarket Share as per Strategic GoalsImprove the Customer Experience in all key touch points as per SIF GoalsDBO & Receivables ManagementConceive and Execute the Business Plans – Monthly, Quarterly and Annual goalsDrive the booking and billing of the assigned product lines as per ABPAccountable for the profitability of the assigned product lines (Billing VA and PBT)Strategic Positioning of the products with Key Stakeholders like consultants, PMCs and CustomersBusiness Development and relationship building with potential customersStrategic marketing activities in growing segments like Industrial, Pharma and Healthcare, Government and data centers and ITClose interaction with Government bodies like BEE, DPIIT etc. for regulatory complianceMentor and develop the team to be competent and operate independently.Relationship building with Top consultants and customersProviding technical inputs from time to time to the product managers and R&D team for future developmentsDemand Planning – Ensure Timely Forecast & Forecast AccuracyDevelopmental interventions for the building the capabilities of the team in coordination with L&DClose interaction with cross functional teams like manufacturing, Supply chain and QualityEnsure Structured Review and Response wrt Plan vs Actual on all KPIsInflow of enquiries every month as per the market share goals.Usage and adaptation of Digital toolsData Analytics to understand the market trends and align the strategic plansBig deal managementTo ensure Commercial discipline wrt DBO, Receivables in coordination with Commercial teamManage the controllable operational expensesCoordination with CCM & Marketing for effective Brand buildingEnsure Customer satisfaction levels are maintained, in coordination with ServiceFocus on Market developmental activities in High Potential marketsDrive adherence to Blue Star Values & beliefs and serve as a role modelQualificationsEducation: BE degree; MBA preferredExperience: 20+ years in Chillers, HVAC applications, or related technologiesRequired SkillsExpertise: Proven success in leading teams and managing high-value business operationsMindset: Dynamic leader, exceptional communicator, and strategic thinkerThis role is based in Mumbai, India and will involve handling chillers Business Across India.
