Helpbridge the gap between the existing skill sets of data engineers /data scientists andCloudenvironmentsfor the production grade delivery of analyticssolutions Grow dataplatform capabilities to solve new data problems and challengesleveragingcloudplatformsHelp the team optimize cloud data platform architectures andcalculate monitor andoptimizespendProvide data security oversight and recommendations utilizing toolslike Alert LogicDesign and implement Audit andSecurity. Guide ateam of Data Architects and Software Developers to build deliverand supportageneration ofdataintensive applications serving internal businessneeds Handsonimplementation of Data Cloud applications primarily using HadoopPythonElasticsearchand the AWS stackLead the implementation and migration of data systems to moderndata platforms suchascloudbased datawarehouses and data lakes to improve performance scalability andcostefficiency.Collaborate with data engineers data scientists business analystsand other stakeholderstounderstand theirdata requirements and translate them into technicalspecifications.Evaluate and recommend cuttingedge tools technologies and bestpractices fordataengineering andmodern data platforms ensuring alignment with theorganization'sstrategicgoals.Develop and maintain data models data dictionaries and metadatarepositories to ensuredataconsistencyaccuracy and standardization across theorganization.Design and implement data security and privacy measures to ensurecompliance withrelevantregulationsand industrystandards.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the data engineeringteam fostering a cultureofcontinuouslearning andimprovement.Monitor and troubleshoot data platform performance issuesproactively identifyingandimplementingoptimizations to ensure optimal systemperformance.Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to developand maintainprojectplanstimelines and resource requirements for data engineeringinitiatives. Keepuptodate with the latest trends and advancements in the dataengineering andmoderndata platformspace incorporating relevant insights into theorganization's datastrategy.Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in ComputerScience Engineering or a relatedfield. Minimum of10 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on moderndata platformsandtechnologies.Strong knowledge of the cloudbased data platforms their associatedservices andtechnologiesin AWSframework Provenexperience designing and implementing largescale data solutionsincludingdatawarehouses datalakes and realtime data processingsystems. Handsonexperience designing distributed systems and applications on theAWS CloudincludingKMS SecretManager AWS CloudWatch AWSIAM Strongknowledge of cloudbased data platforms such as AWS Azure or GoogleCloud andtheirassociated services and technologies such as Snowflake RedshiftSynapse DatabricksandDeltaLake. Proficiencyin data modeling data integration and ETLprocesses.Expertise in SQL NoSQL and big data technologies such as HadoopSpark and Kafka.Strong understanding of data security and privacy principlesincluding GDPR andCCPA. Strongproblemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to thinkstrategically andcreatively.Experience in providing solutioning in Modern Data PlatformEngineering such as comingupRoadmap Referencearchitecture effort estimation and Project Implementationplan.
