The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mainframe applications that support critical business processes.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications usingCOBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS .Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting of mainframe programs.Optimize batch processes and ensure system performance meets SLAs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration and deployment.Provide production support and resolve incidents within defined timelines.Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with standards.Required Skills & Experience:5+ yearsof hands-on experience inMainframe development .Strong proficiency inCOBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS .Experience withDB2andIMSdatabases is a plus.Knowledge ofmainframe utilities(SORT, IDCAMS, etc.).Familiarity withSDLC , Agile methodologies, and version control tools.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
