To meet our challenges, we are looking for a Category Specialist – Logistics and Transportation within the Procurement team This position will be located in Mumbai. Mgt., P2P), driven by ethics and business-minded approach for the best interest of Roquette Group Your experience and talents will make the difference to: · Responsible for procurement of logistics and procurement services encompassing inbound, outbound, and warehousing requirement · Collaborate with Sales and Logistics functions to drive the OTIF through supplier execution · Execute freight sourcing strategy for all modes of transportation Road, Rail & Sea. · Support the Global RFQ process for critical lanes & key customers · Execute Procurement strategies/processes, tools and measurements · Develop and provide knowledge of the local transportation market to improve competitiveness of freight rates · Developing and executing sourcing strategies through RFPs and Auctions · Negotiation planning and execution for outbound and inbound transportation · Lead supplier development and supply base management for the transportation and logistics category · Lead cross-functional projects to improve transportation competitiveness and operational efficiencies · Analyse supplier's operations to determine factors that affect prices and determine lowest cost consistent with quality and delivery requirements · Create and provide knowledge for transportation industry, fuel markets, upcoming regulatory changes, and overall market updates · Develop and demonstrate competencies in international logistics for food and pharma · Raw material freight and handling negotiations – freight, handling, warehousing, and others · Responsible for Supplier Relationship management though supplier metrics and rating system for evaluation of performance · Developing management reporting for category to establish performance and competitiveness · Identifying & driving competitiveness through cost saving projects · Driving all the sourcing aspects including sourcing Strategy, RFPs, Vendor pool, negotiations, contracting, vendor allocation and performance reviews · Reporting – Savings, Supplier performance, Contract adherence, and project updates What we will love about you: · Experience in working in Purchase department and have Negotiation & Analytical Skill · Supply chain experience with Logistics and transportation will be preferred · Must be able to co-ordinate with other functional people and plant people for getting necessary details and executing sourcing strategies · Must believe in giving results and follow SOP in procurement process · Ability to conduct RFP/RFQs · New vendor identification and development · Commercial and contract negotiations · Stakeholder Management · Supplier relationship management And also … • B.E. and MBA is preferred • Experience: 5-8 Years • Excellent competencies in MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point Business Trips (Percentage): 30% If you identify yourself in this position, please apply by uploading your resume and let's start the journey together Roquette is proud to be a global company where you can find personal and professional growth through multiple diverse experiences.
