Sponsorship Manager – Worldwide leader in Obstacle Course Races

One of the largest media and event companies in the Middle East, ITP Media Group, are looking for a Sponsorship Manager to join its newly created Obstacle Course Race division, launched under licence from an international leader in the OCR global community and worldwide endurance sports.
ITP Media Group reaches an audience of more than 42 million people across the region and beyond through its leading websites, portals, social media platforms, events, conferences, award ceremonies, magazines, books and social media influencer agency.
ITP Media Group’s luxury portfolio includes major international and regional brands such as Time Out, Arabian Business, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, Esquire Middle East, Grazia Middle East, Cosmopolitan Middle East, Top Gear Middle East and GQ Middle East.
Requirements The OCR division of ITP Media is ITP’s latest business launch; the role involves selling sponsorship across a range of life-changing outdoor and indoor events, products and content which help people, companies and teams break barriers, compete, build communities and self-belief.
The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, proactive sales person with 3+ years international or GCC Media sales experience and contacts across multiple industries inclusive of advertising agencies.
Strong experience in selling across events, outdoor display, digital display and social media platforms is an advantage, as is the proven ability to drive growth through new audience & revenue channels.
The right candidate will display an excellent understanding of the return on investment of successful event sponsorship and be able to conceptualise and tailor proposals to provide optimal solutions for clients across multiple verticals, and most definitely be able to think outside traditional parameters.
Strong negotiation and closing skills as well as the ability to work well under pressure and maintain efficiency and accuracy are key attributes.
Additionally, the right candidate will have experience in and demonstrate;
- GCC media sales with a strong track record in events
- Creative content solutions.
- Management of a project, from concept to delivery
- Strong client relationship skills
- Brand and product extension & development
