KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS:

Collaboratively plan sprint backlog with detailed tasks acceptance criteriaWorking in an Agile environment with cross-functional scrum teams, as well as, promoting the culture and practices of software development.Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of solutionsParticipate in the design of new features and scoping of sprint backlogsImplement API monitoring metrics and develop monitoring dashboardsParticipate in the development of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelinesIdentify problems and influence team to solve efficiently through planningProvide support to other engineers and non-engineer team membersDesigning, developing, and unit testing applications in accordance with established best practices.Packaging and supporting release deploymentsInterface to co-ordinate and resolve network design and/or process related issues.Developing technical scoping documentation from product requirements.Communicating complex technology solutions to other technical and non-technical staff.Apply strict quality control to development with the use of Test-driven development methods.Consistently ensuring Security mindset whilst building APIs and system integration.Mentor interns and graduates rotating through the team.

Job Requirements:A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a dynamic software engineering teamStrong DevOps skillsHands on Typescript, JavaScript, React JS, Node JS, Python, Ansible playbook, Shell Scripting, Git, CI/CD, Linux, k8s, DockerExpertise in the Network as a Service and API technologiesUnderstanding of Apigee and API GatewayExtensive experience in Cloud Computing Environments such as VMware, OpenStack, KubernetesExperience with VoIP applications, servers and protocols, including but not limited to Kamailio, Asterix. (SIP, RTP/RTCP)Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of various security & network protocols such as diameter, sip, rtp, rtcp.Excellent understanding of virtual/cloud networks with interest to NFVi, VNFs, VIM and OrchestrationDemonstrated experience with software repositories such as Gitlab, K8s and ContainersExperience in E2E application design and Architecture
