Most importantly, we like to have fun We offer aprofessional and fun work environment with frequent lunch and learns, socials, contests, outings andother events.A typical day as a US Tax Manager in Mumbai, India might include the following, but is not limited to:Mandatory experience in partnerships and or corporate taxReviews business and individual tax returns.Prepares high-level tax returns.Signs completed tax returns.Interviews clients to obtain information for tax returns or other projects.May review tax accruals and attend meeting with auditors regarding tax issues.Manages client relationships by monitoring client needs and building value into professional service.Evaluates the costs, benefits and risks of alternative solutions to client problems or needs.Performs tax research and other special projects as they occur.Provides feedback in order to develop the tax practice.Capitalizes on personal and professional experiences in order to develop business and practice lines.Supervises and delegates duties to Associate and Senior Associate level staff.Provides mentoring and technical training for employees in the tax department.Performs other accounting and tax related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.Who You AreThe word "tax" is not foreign to you, and you can easily explain details of your tax experience and/or can explain the difference between a 1040,1120 and an 1065.You have demonstrated an interest in a career in public accounting and looking to advance in this field.You enjoy keeping up-to-date on the ever-changing tax industry's regulations and policies.You have a knack for solving problems and easily notice issues while bringing solutions to the table.You take pride in helping others, and you are ready to take on the challenge of leading a team of high-performing individuals.You have knowledge of and exposure to a variety of industries. Knowledge of CCH Access Tax and CCH Engagement software is a plus5+ years of experience in US tax work.1+ years of experience as a manager of staff preparing and reviewing US tax work.Professional certification of CPA, CA or EA are required.In addition to all of this, you are a graduate within the disciplines of Accounting and Finance. Post-graduation in the said disciplines are an added benefit and will be a catalyst for career growth at the organization.
