We're seeking a dynamic and self-directed Head - Finance to join our team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping Arth's financial landscape, ensuring our growth remains steady and sustainable.
Your responsibilities will include delivering insightful analyses of financial performance to the India leadership team, as well as actively contributing to strategic and financial planning initiatives. As a key member of both the Finance and India teams, you'll be a visionary thinker, ready to address any challenges head-on and contribute hands-on whenever necessary.
Financial Planning and Capital Allocation Strategy:
Lead the quarterly/annual budgeting process and create long-term financial plans for all business segments. Collaborate with management to efficiently allocate capital and raise funds through debt and equity.
Business Partnering:
Offer informed financial advice on business decisions, highlighting their impact on financial outcomes.
Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost control.
Support business teams in assessing new ventures and business lines.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and nurture a high-performing finance team.
Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and collaboration.
Set clear objectives and performance standards, offering regular feedback and coaching.
Tax Planning and Compliance:
Collaborate with tax advisors to develop tax-efficient strategies and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Manage tax filings, audits, and inquiries from tax authorities.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate financial risks specific to the Indian, Singaporean, and US markets.
Ensure compliance with Indian financial regulations and tax laws.
Monitor local market trends and economic factors that may impact the organization's financial stability in India.
Requirements:
Bachelor's/ Master's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; or CA (Chartered Accountant) preferred.
15 - 20 yrs of relevant experience in financial analysis and corporate finance
Proven experience in a senior finance role in India, with a track record of success in financial management and leadership in the Indian market.
Disciplined approach to adhere to financial processes and procedures.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in financial software and tools used in India, such as Indian ERP systems, Excel, and Tally
Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts and investment recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
High learnability to understand global financial compliances as the company grows to new geographies.
