Lead Systems Development Engineer JLL Technologies What this job involves: #JLLTech Ambitions Key Responsibilities Design and implement cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments Architect, deploy and optimize Azure-based solutions including compute, storage, networking, and securty services Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives with an emphasis on Azure technologies Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using modern Dev Ops practices Implement and manage containerized workloads using AKS and EKS Establish and enforce cloud security standards and best practices across environments Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions for automated deployments Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers Optimize cloud resource usage and implement cost management strategies Troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments Sounds like you? To apply you need to be: Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering/architecture roles Strong hands-on experience with Azure, plus working knowledge of AWS and GCP platforms Proficiency with Kubernetes orchestration, particularly AKS, with knowledge of EKS Experience with Karpenter, Argo CD, and Istio in container environments Demonstrated expertise in cloud security principles and implementations Advanced knowledge of cloud networking concepts and solutions Proficiency with Git Hub and Git Hub Actions for CI/CD workflows Experience with infrastructure as code tools (particularly Terraform, Azure ARM templates, and AWS Cloud Formations) Self-driven work ethic with ability to manage complex projects independently Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Azure certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, Dev Ops Engineer, Security Engineer) Experience with Azure governance and compliance frameworks Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures Background in supporting enterprise-scale applications Experience with Azure monitoring and observability tools (such as Data Dog) We're looking for a proactive cloud professional who excels in Azure environments while maintaining broader multi-cloud expertise, can work independently on complex problems, and deliver robust, secure cloud solutions.
