We are seeking exceptional Principal Investigators (PIs) to lead cutting-edge research in areas such as Computer Vision, Machine Learning, AI, and Computational Imaging. These roles are ideal for individuals with a strong academic background who also understand how to navigate the constraints and opportunities of applied, product-focused research.We're looking for translational thinkers —individuals who can bridge the gap between theoretical research and real-world applications, developing both publishable research and functional prototypes. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in their domain and be excited by the opportunity to work in a high-impact, cross-disciplinary environment.Required BackgroundPh D in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, AI, or Computational Imaging5+ years of post-Ph D research or applied research experience (can include industry, academia, or research labs)5+ years of postdoctoral or industry research experience.Demonstrated ability to lead high impact applied research projects or labsDesirable TraitsStrong publication record in top-tier conferencesProven contributions to relevant ML projects in the spaceProven ability to bridge theory and practice, producing both prototypes and papersEntrepreneurial mindset, excited by innovation and product impactExperience mentoring Ph D students, researchers, or junior engineersExcellent communication skills; able to articulate technical ideas to non-expertsSoft Skills & TraitsTranslation thinker: can turn vague or creative ideas into concrete technical plansHighly collaborative with a clear, structured communication styleInnovative and self-motivated, capable of owning research direction and execution
