Key Terms of Reference:Experienced in functional and technical aspect of SAP software components which includes SAP Business Planning and Consolidations SAP BPC 11.1 (2021), version for BW/4HANAThorough understanding of data architecture from BW to BPC, relationship between entities and account structures. The BPC Consultant will use formal methodologies during requirements gathering, design, build/test and deployment. Responsibilities include using knowledge of leading practices within the month end close and consolidation process as well as proven experience applying and maintaining internal controls.Experience on BPC Embedded architectureKnowledge of SAC Planning will be preferredShould have experience on designing & developing both Planning & Consolidation processes: Data input, currency conversion, entity consolidation and elimination, plan assessments, versioning, reporting.Experience of working in a Devops team structure, can contribute different phases of various ongoing SAP BPC programmes, including design, development and production support, and contribute effectively.Willing to work in UK time zone shift if requiredExperience in Agile development practices preferred

Summary Description for the Role:

The role holder will be part of the SAP BI/BPC Devops team, and will be a key contributor to all team initiatives

Key responsibilities are:In addition to consolidations, the BPC Consultant should also be able to configure BPC to be used for planning functionality. He/She should be able to configure key planning utilities in SAP including Input Schedules, Allocations and Forecast Models. Candidate should be able to advice clients on solution architecture. Candidate should have prior hands on experience around account.Build SAP BPC model & dimensionPerform SAP BPC system configuration such as business process flow and business rules.Write code in Script Logic / Fox and ABAP for extended logic implementationUnderstanding of the Finance functional areaUse of formal system implementation methodologies during project prep, requirements gathering, design, build/test and deployment is required.Must have Business Unit Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experienceSupport testing – CIT/E2E/UATAnalyze code and review designsExperience on cloud platforms a plusWork with geographically diverse development teamsStakeholder managementConduct Show & Tells with business users, propose solutions which provide business value to users.

Qualifications:

Functional knowledge in Financial Consolidation and Financial Planning / Zero-based BudgetingBasic accounting knowledge is desirableTechnical knowledge in report and input template building on EPM Add-on for Microsoft OfficeWell versed in usage of ABAP and script logicExtensive knowledge in data modelling in SAP BPCExperience in SAP S4HANA or ECC finance related modules is a plusRelevant SAP certifications are a plus

Skills/Experience:

Extensive experience in SAP BPC 11.1 (2021), version for BW/4HANAExtensive experience inFunctional experience in Finance will be preferredExposure to SAP Cloud technologies preferred.Experience of working in DevOps teams responsible for management of Live systems as well as design & development would be preferred.
